The Audit and Evaluation Program supports the OIG’s strategic goal to improve the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of EEOC programs, operations, and activities. The audit program provides assurance to the Commission Chair and Congress that EEOC programs are working efficiently and effectively. The audit staff members conduct performance and financial audits, as well as special reviews and evaluations. These audits focus on management controls, administrative and program operations, transaction processing, and financial and other information systems. Special reviews and evaluations assess program goals, objectives, performance and results and consider the impact of EEOC programs, operations, and policies.
